GiliSoft Video Editor is a Windows program for improving the quality of your homemade clips. You can use this application to crop or trim videos, watermark your clips, add visual effects to your movies, and so much more.
The utility works with a wide variety of video formats, features easy-to-configure settings, and immediately generates the quality clips you need. The main screen of the program displays the names of all built-in tools. Simply select the video editing utility you wish to use, import your video, make the necessary changes, and the app will quickly generate your new clip.
I've tested all of the integrated tools. They provided quality output files and were very simple to handle. Also, the program used a very small quantity of CPU resources while exporting the resulting videos.
Unfortunately, the application comes with several flaws. The video player that's being integrated with all of the built-in tools doesn't work properly (shows only the first couple of frames from the imported video). Also, GiliSoft Video Editor supports only 2 subtitle formats (SRT and ASS).
Another important disadvantage is the fact that the app lacks a built-in timeline-based workflow feature. This characteristic might prove to be of good use when joining multiple clips or trimming videos.
Hence, I think you should try a different tool for completing your video editing tasks. There are many other video editors that provide you with additional features, work well, and come with affordable prices.
